Description
Rako RMR-VF 10-Way Wireless Volt-Free Interface
The RMR-VF is a versatile 10-way wireless interface designed to bridge external switching devices with the Rako wireless ecosystem. By converting volt-free contact closures into Rako commands, this module allows for the integration of third-party sensors, gate motors, alarm panels, or traditional retractive switches into your smart lighting infrastructure.
We engineered the RMR-VF for maximum flexibility, allowing each of the ten inputs to be mapped to its own independent Room and Channel. Each input is programmable for both ‘On Make’ and ‘On Break’ states, enabling you to trigger specific actions—such as turning on lights when a gate opens and triggering an “All Off” command when it closes. Programmable via Rasoft Pro, this module is the ultimate tool for bespoke system automation and multi-room control.
Key Features
- ✅ 10 Independent Inputs: Connect up to ten individual volt-free contacts to control ten different Rako Rooms or Channels.
- ✅ Customizable Logic: Program specific commands for both the ‘closing’ (On Make) and ‘opening’ (On Break) of a circuit.
- ✅ Advanced Command Suite: Trigger Scenes (1-16), specific light levels (0-100%), Fades, Toggles, or Whole House On/Off commands.
- ✅ Extended Reach: Supports cable runs of up to 100M per input, allowing for remote sensing from gates, garages, or outbuildings.
- ✅ Wireless Integration: Transmits Rako RF commands directly to dimmers and curtain/blind modules without the need for data cabling.
- ✅ Professional Setup: Fully configurable using Rasoft Pro via a RAMPI or Rako HUB.

Installation & Setup Note
⚠️ Wiring Requirement: For reliable operation over long distances, always use a dedicated 2-core cable per input. Do not use multi-core cables (such as 10-core alarm cable) to share a common return, as this can lead to signal interference and “ghost” switching.
