Pharos Designer EXT – TPC Extension

The Pharos Designer EXT is an extension module designed to work with the Pharos TPC (Touch Panel Controller), transforming it into a standalone, mains-powered lighting control system with versatile output and integration options.

While the TPC provides powerful Ethernet-based lighting control and integration, many lighting installations require direct DMX or DALI outputs without complex network infrastructure. The EXT module solves this by providing local DMX and DALI interfaces, along with additional hardware control connections and power supply.

Together, the TPC and EXT create a compact yet powerful solution for architectural lighting control, show control, and automation projects.

Seamless Programming

The EXT module is programmed directly through:

• Pharos Designer 2

Within the software, the EXT appears as a native extension of the TPC, allowing users to configure outputs, triggers, and control logic as part of a single integrated project.

DMX & RDM Control

The EXT includes a DMX512 output port, allowing the TPC to control DMX lighting fixtures directly.

Capabilities include:

• Standard DMX512 output

• RDM discovery and device addressing

• Control of LED fixtures, dimmers, and DMX devices

DALI Lighting Integration

The EXT also provides a DALI bus interface, enabling control of DALI-compatible luminaires.
